Summary and Response Essay
I retain with Laurence Shames in the to a greater extent Factor that the concept of plenty always urgencying to a greater extent and more can amaze away from their over in all moral basis; although I agree I do not think it applies for most sight. The More Factor is an article that tries to show how America has changed through our in-person desires. Shames claims that through our past, we disregarded anyone elses morals or judgments to gain for more and more. For example, during the expansion to the west or the great squeeze we did not cargon about the impact of our actions. I think those are just some cases where collectively that has happened. Today, the main matter people strive for is happiness. This might include a family and a place desirable to live in which costs money. As financial security is met, I think most people stop. They do not need anyone so they stop with their more federal agent. Also, this idea includes more than just Americans because all humans just want to be happy and secure.



Yes, as collectively Americans are greedier and give up more to achieve their goals but all humans have personal desires.
After my reading I have come to the conclusion that the More Factor is not a problem. Now besides the times where people go against their inner morals and do illegal things to get what they want, the tantalise to want more is a good thing. Without goals our world would steady be making fire by beating to rocks in concert in hope of a spark. Human beings drive to remediate and accomplish new feats is what got our world to the stage it is now. Without the More factor people would not want to enhance their lives.
